Founded in 1997, NVVA has since been a constant presence in the Northern Virginia Volleyball scene.
From its creation, NVVA has overseen the division of Loudoun Youth Volleyball (LYV) which is one of NVVA's most successful youth programs. The recreational league serves over 1,300 middle and high school students, both male and female, residing in Loudoun County. The leagues run in the fall of each year starting in mid August and going through early November. For more informationĀ Click Here!

In 2009 the Virginia Volleyball Center was created. What started as a warehouse was completely transformed into 6 indoor courts, 1 beach volleyball court, a fully stocked weight room, a classroom and several office spaces.

Our club volleyball program provides high level training for players ages 10-18. Club volleyball is designed for players who want to strengthen their skills and have hopes to play in college. Our travel teams are the most competitive. These teams are made up of girls with the strongest skill level and desire to train and push themselves to the highest level of play. This level has the most demanding practice and tournament schedule.
Select teams are also highly competitive, but are not quite ready to commit to the demanding practice or tournament schedule just yet. This is a great level for a multi-sport athlete or an athlete with a rigorous academic schedule. Lastly, we have regional teams which are for athletes wanting to play on a club team that provides the very best coaching, training, and competition, but within the confines of a local/regional competition schedule (no competition further than 90 minutes away).
